Dave Eagle: 85 pushups + 77 situps = 162 (159 on 12/29)
Adam Oldenburg: 66 pushups + 74 situps = 140 (103 on 12/29)
Andy Heikes: 56 pushups + 86 situps = 142 total (first time)
Joel Santos: 20 pushups + 59 situps = 79 total (first time)

  1. What is happening on the snatches? Where are you missing them? A lot of things can cause a miss on the snatch. If you miss a few at 135, try some 135 power snatches, catching the weight and riding it down into an OHS. Roger told me to do this....Dan John also says to do this. It helps prevent trying to get under the bar (third pull) before we are total open with the hips.

    I know Greg E say deadhang pull-ups 3 sets, but if you want to change somethings up, take a page from Pavel's Naked Warrior and do pyramids. Say 4 sets of 1-2-3-4 (that would be total volume 40 pull-ups, never doing more then 4 at a time). These pyramids are the way to get pull-up strength. If any of your guys are struggling with deadhangs, their pyramid might be 1-2-3, then maybe 1-2, etc.
